Hun klassen zijn goed, zolang uw hond agressieve geen hond is. Zij aren' t groot over het behandelen van uw persoonlijke kwesties, behandelen zij alle problemen als groep, die over elke bepaalde stap als geheel, eerder dan het richten van één bijzondere zorg gaat. Zo daar werkelijk isn' t een gehele partij van 1 op 1 keer.
Als u een bijzondere zorg of probleemgedrag hebt, I' D adviseert een privé gehoorzaamheidstrainer die met u persoonlijk 1 aan 1 zal werken.
Ik nam mijn Jack Russell Terrier Mix aan de hond PetSmart opleiding. Hij leerde werkelijk een daar. Zij hielpen ons een en toonden ons wat om met
Personally I dislike them simply because the trainers generally have had a 3 week class, and that’s it. No other experience necessary.
As such I find them to be unable to help with different issues, unsure how to use different methods if necessary, and at times unable to help an individual properly (such as I’ve met 1 out of 4 that could help me properly with a pinch collar, and not suggest the haltis I hate so much).
Their decent for new dog owners, but I don’t think they help enough, and I would generally suggest going somewhere else to get a good trainer with credentials that has had more than a 3 week crash course in the subject.

From the previous answers…it sounds like it depends. I have a great trainer that teaches the class as a whole and does one on one as necessary. She’s spent extra time answering questions and helping train my dog without having to pay extra. She’s always willing to give me different ideas with my concerns even if they’ve never been brought up during a training class. I would recommend meeting the trainer first and then deciding if they can offer you what you are looking for. Best of luck!
We' Re op onze 5de week nu en wij betaalden $109 voor de beginnersklasse. It' o.k. s maar mijn oud mo 8 kennen reeds al materiaal en wij zouden eigenlijk in de middenklasse moeten geworden zijn. Ik onderwees mijn hondPARTIJEN van materiaal terwijl hij enkel een baby was, als zit, onderaan, verblijf, kom, verlaat het, laat vallen het en wij lopen de hele tijd op de leiband. Zo als uw hond al die bevelen kent, dan voert de bespreking met de trainer over volgende oorzaak that' op; s welke we' het re leren in deze klasse. Er zijn 5 honden in de klasse en slechts 2 van ons zijn werkelijk ernstig over dit materiaal, laten anderen enkel hun honden doen wat zij willen wat waarom hun honden don' is; t gedraagt zich in de eerste plaats. De lach van Ppl bij me oorzaak bekijk ik enkel mijn hond en hij kent wat om te doen maar I' ve die met hem werkt en hij kent dat I' ernstig m. Oh en wij doen clicker opleiding die naar mijn mening een pijn in het uiteinde is. Ik moet zijn leiband houden, een traktatie in mijn hand en stomme clicker hebben en met dit alles jongleren. I' m te oud voor dit alles materiaal. Mijn hond houdt van wordt beloond te worden die met een traktatie en een " goede boy" van me. Hij doesn' t zorg over clicker.

Ik denk zij voor fundamentele opleiding van vrij gemakkelijk om honden zonder speciale kwesties op te leiden zuiveren. Sommige van hun trainers zijn werkelijk goed, en wat zijn niet. I don' t zoals het idee van opleiding uit in het midden van de opslag.

Some of their trainers are really good, and some are not. I don’t like the idea of training out in the middle of the store.

Hun " trainers" zijn nauwelijks opgeleid, en dat is feiten niet fictie. Voeg aan dit toe dat het bedrijf BSL STEUNT (de ras-specifieke wetgeving); zoals in geen intimideer toegestane rassen en geen agressief om het even wat. Ik vraag u, die de opleiding van meer dan de agressieve hond?? nodig heeft? Als een trainer geen student met hondagressie kan helpen, welk goed zijn zij??? Ongeveer zijn al hun klassen goed voor is puppysocialisatie, en u kunt doen dat zelf zonder een stuiver uit te zetten.
Dat gezegd zijnde, is de ernstige gehoorzaamheid opleiding hoogst - geadviseerd voor ALLE honden. Vind vraag een lokale hondclub op uw gebied en hen die zij adviseren? Woon een hond bij tonen dichtbij u en spreken aan enkele gehoorzaamheidsconcurrenten, zouden zij u in de juiste richting moeten kunnen wijzen.
Hun zijn brede verschillen in opleidingsklassen. Zoek een klasse die aan en uit leibandcontrole en probleem het oplossen aanbiedt. Zonder van leibandcontrole, uw hond isn' t dat werkelijk bij allen wordt opgeleid. Doe uw thuiswerk en vind de beste klasse. Ga:

It will depend on the specific Petsmart as it will depend upon the person they have hired as a trainer. I know some Petsmarts who have a person that has some clue and then there are others who use any little person that has some pseudo-’certification’ they have set up. I personally do not refer to their classes if there is any other reasonable alternative at all. I personally would drive a far distance rather than go to one of their classes but then I realize that obedience classes are a once a week thing and they should be directed at training YOU and not the dog since the training of the dog comes when you take the dog home and then out to other places during the rest of the week on at least a daily basis to train the dog. Check the classes out - go and watch and ask about the trainer - how many dogs they have trained to what titles and what variety of techniques have they personally used and trained others to use successfully.
add: DO NOT ‘just pick up a book’ particularly not Kohler’s and start jerking your dog around. Petsmart is likely not at all useful for serious training but it, again depending on the trainer they hired, better than doing some do it yourself training from some antiquated book using an antiquated and proven overall dileterious methodology. I never recommend, not silly enough to, someone to get a book or dvd or watch a show and train a dog.. you need someone watching you and giving feedback as to what you are doing.
