Guard dog training / Attack dog training Secrets! K9-1.com

k91dogtraining asked:

This Dog training video is about guard dogs, attack dogs, personal protection dogs, killer dogs, or whatever type of training a dog trainer may call it. In reality this video is about a well trained black german shepherd (shepard, shepperd, Sheppard) some people spell german shepherd wrong! A well trained Doberman pincher and guard dog training done on a Rottweiler or rottie. Guard dog training and attack dog training is a serious business, so be sure to choose a qualified dog trainer. There is a big difference between a dog trainer that only demos dog training and their own trained dog, and a dog trainer that shows dog training on dogs that have been trained by their clients under supervision. That is the difference between e decent trainer and a good dog training technique. You can find more info about k9-1 specialized dog training’s technique and info on Mike D’Abruzzo by going to http://www.k9-1.com
Thank you for watching my attack guard protection dog training video!
Sincerely,
Michael D’Abruzzo

Yes. It needs to be heavily socialized in order to boost its confidence so it doesnt fear bite. Also you have to train definate calm down or stop commands. Also have ALOT of treats and give plently of praise for each attempt, succesful or failed. Although this training comes more natural for GSDs and Dobbies, because of the independance in APBTs, they need some form of incouragement for them to see a reason to do this. After they figure out this is what makes you happy, they will do it all day.

Im always looking for new and better ways to improve my training. Could you send me a website or a way to receive some info from you?

I’ve also been working with her on disarming an attacker. For intstance, going for the hand or arm that has the weapon. Or taking down an individual that is running away or back peddaling, and what to do once she has that individual on the ground. Some say to train a APBT in this way is dangerous, but like I said in the first text, socialization is a key component of training APBTs. Ive also done this same training with a GSD and a Dobbie, they took on to it quickly like Matrix.

I have a 11 month old APBT that Im training this very same way. I’ve been working with her consistantly for 5 months. She already had a cold temperment so I did not have to worry about aggression. I constantly socialize her with dogs, kids and adults so she doesnt have fear. She expresses alot of confidence and patience, even with younger, more energetic pups. So far I can to stop her in very vigorous play between her and another adult dog, even if that dog continues to bite on her.

Every woman needs a dog like this. I’ve been trying to get my parents to buy one for me, but they think it’s too dangerous. If every woman had a protection dog, stupid fucking men wouldn’t try to take advantage of them.

    I don’t know — ask Michael Vick.

Furthermore, dogs especially from the guard breed need obedience classes in order to help them use his intelligence since he is highly intelligent. I also believe these dogs need mental simulation in order to be happy through tracking, agility, guarding, etc. In fact, I never discussed biting at all in my first comment. So, read the ENTIRE comment, think for a while, THEN comment. I said nothing wrong in either of my statements as you have in yours.

I stated that GSDs are naturally protective in that they were bred to do anything including guard. I did not state every instance is protective but dogs run up to people entering THEIR territory IS protective. A dog don’t have to bite as u are stating to protect. I did not say the dog would bite. Like I said, u do not have to train a natural guard dog. I do not know what u read, but u did NOT read my comments thereby u are the silly one.

That’s a silly statement, there are no certain breeds where every example is protective. Most dogs from breeds suited towards guard/protective work will bluff and snap if only left to their own instinct, many will get out of dodge, less than 1% will really get down and nasty. Dogs have been bred for hundreds of years to not bite humans, those who did were culled and did not have many offspring. Unless you wanna wage a lucky bet you should teach them that it’s ok in certain situations to bite.

who would win in a fight a german shepard or a rottwieler??

  16. kilogproject on July 2nd, 2009

is it possible to do this with a pitbull?

  17. VampirexLament on July 2nd, 2009

Great video. You know, you really have to appreciate the work and care that goes into these dogs. And, of course, the training for the handler as well.

  18. wolfborn10 on July 3rd, 2009

Yeah, except most people would be more concered prying a dog’s grip off.

  19. crf2fiddy250 on July 5th, 2009

  20. neverknow1211 on July 6th, 2009

how do u get ur dog to do that

  21. cateyes221981 on July 7th, 2009

who is the stupid loser in the padding? ROFL

  22. HammandClov on July 7th, 2009

GSD really dont need to be trained as they are protective dogs. What you really should consider is obedience classes and mental simulations. Next time you have company over tell the dog to wait behind you instead of running up to the door. Won’t work on 1st try so keep doing it til it gets the message that YOU control the house, not it. Next, have your company pet the dog to show they are not a threat. For fun, teach it to bark on command, that way when u want it to stop barking, say it.

  23. andwhatelse on July 10th, 2009

Its not that hard to get a dog to stop biting you if you know how to make em stop grab there back legs and flip them over and get control of there head.
And to any of you fags saying well why dont you try it or ifs its so easy post a video or Im a cop in a k9 unit and that wont work or if the dog catches you of guard shut the fuck up you use it for self defense against strays that attack you or dogs that just attack you out of no were.
