Home made treats are good, But if your cat needs certain vitamins or minerals, just let the professionals make some.

i cut hot dogs into small slices, then cook in microwave on hi for two minutes. the hot dog pieces turn hard, and thats what i use as special treats. both my cat and dog love them. try them out.

I make tuna treats for my kitty. He LOVES them. I like making my own treats better because then you know exactly what’s in them, even if they don’t last as long.
Here’s a good site with the tuna recipe I use, along with others:

My cats go absolutely nuts of LouisRich turkey bacon. It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen and by far their favorite “treat.” They don’t have the same reaction for pork bacon or anything else. The store-bought treat they flip for are “Pit-Pats.” Historically I’ve found them at PetSmart or Meiers. They are in a little pink and white tin and called kitty breath fresheners; although I’ve never noticed them to freshen breath, the cats LOVE them! Hillarity!
