    Cat:
A good scolding with a meaningful “NO!”
Not hurting it or anything but a little tap on the nose with something because eventually he won’t care about water.

you start immediately. Teething is fine, just not on human skin, I usually scruff the kittens and give a tiny shake and say loudly no, like their momma would. I only play with toys. Socks… tho watch out for your feet later on. Crunchy treats to chew on. Anything you feel your kitties would like to chew, beside you : )

Whenever your cat bites you say NO loud and clear and tap the cat’s nose with 2 fingers. It is better than spraying your cat with water.

I did the opposite, stupid me. Now he is a year and a half and plays really rough and often bites my toes for fun.

Start now- he can teethe, but not on YOU! Go to the store for toy mice and make sure you have enough (like 5 or 6). Say “NO!” when he bites you.

Spraying is not that effective, some cats (ie. my baby José) are fine with water. Stop the play session and firmly admonish verbally- it’ll stop and he’ll realize he can only bite appropriate stuff (ie. the other cat, which is adorable, toys, or the cat tree).
